Firstly let me say a very big THANK YOU to all the well wishers who have hit me back after my email yesterday.

It was a digital landslide! - The first reply came just a few minutes after my mail out and my inbox has been pinging like a pinball machine. So again, many thanks for your support and kind words.

Honestly, I've been very touched.

I was also quiet moved, both personally and professionally by the stories that you shared with me!

There were stories of struggle, shifty sponsors, small wave battles, crap boards, injury, wavering motivation, hasslers along with stories of guts, grommets on fire, determination and success…

And there were a pile of questions too…

I started to reply to them, but honestly, there is just too many for me to get back to you all straight away.

I will reply to every single one, but it may take me some time…

Anyway, today I promised to send to you a little something that I did about Owen Wright's victory over Kelly Slater at the Bells WCT.
