Hi there

It's probably been a while since I've been in touch with you and
I'm sorry about that.

Things are about to change…

But first, let me tell you why I haven't been writing…

As some of you know, I've been the Head of Performance Psychology at
the Australian Institute of Sport, our elite athlete national
training centre, for the last five years.  It was a mega demanding
job.  Every day I was dealing with a lot of Australia's best Olympic
athletes, their coaches and my own staff of 21.

Also over that time I also became a Dad to two great kids, Jack and
Holly.  Being a good Dad and a loving husband took, and still takes,
plenty of time.

As well, I kept going with my individual work with a number of my
platinum surfing clients - guys and girls from the WCT, WQS and
Junior tours.

And furthermore, I was plugging away building my new contest surfing
website.

So… As you can see I've been pretty busy…

But over the last few months things have changed dramatically!

Last December I quit my job, packed up my family and moved back
home to Cronulla.  I loved my job at the Australian Institute of
Sport, but it was time to get back to family, friends and the sea.
It was time for our kids to get to know their grandparents and
cousins.  It was also time for me to come full circle to where I
started out in 1981 - working with surfers.

So that's why I'm writing to you - to let you know I'm back and
that you are going to be seeing a lot more of me coming through
your email… with tips, tricks and strategies that are going to
boost your contest surfing success.

Now I understand if you are feeling a little ticked off cause you
haven't heard from me for a while… That's fair enough.  You can
simply unsubscribe using the link at the very bottom of the page.
But I promise you'll be missing out!

Anyway, enough about me!
